Christmas Thoughts

Settling in this Christmas Eve,
My thoughts wander about
here and there —

Dinner, gifts, family, friends, blessings and thanks.

But my mind settles on this one thing…

He is a light to reveal God to the nations (Luke 2:32 NLT).

The star atop the tree, as well as the star many of us witnessed in the evening sky just a few days ago, are reminders that this night is a celebration of the birth of our Lord, our Messiah, our Savior.

Wherever you are and however you celebrate — alone, with family, or gathered virtually — take a moment to thank God for this precious gift, and remember that He came for you, for me, for all of us.

Merry Christmas and blessings to all, from the bottom of my heart.
